David Jr.was one of the faster cars on track all day to include the qualifying session where he finished P2 and the same for the pre main where he finished 2nd.  The main event began with David sitting off pole at P2 when the green flag dropped. As the battle for turn one unfolded David Jr. took an opportunity to squeeze by P1 for the lead.
